Westminster Public Schools
Director of Post Secondary and Workforce Readiness
Westminster CO
To accomplish postsecondary and workforce readiness for all of our students, I am focused on building a linked foundation for the district that integrates resources and supports for learners in the development of their Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP). Areas of direct coordination include Counselor and Career Guidance, Career Pathway development and articulation, Career and Technical Education, Concurrent Enrollment and ASCENT and Parent Outreach in support of student postsecondary success. Additional support for Partnership building on behalf if students, teachers and counselors helps provide resources for career exploration as well as enhanced counselor and teacher understanding and alignment of instruction and coaching to industry expectations of students.

Prior to joining WPS, I was the Director of the Adams County Education Consortium (ACEC) and created programs to bridge students with higher education and industry. These programs enrolled thousands of students in meaningful dialogue with hundreds of employers across all industries in order to learn the skills, requirements, industry opportunities and education required to pursue the profession of their dreams. All programs were developed to align with State standards and proficiency criteria and were designed to enable students of all proficiency levels access to resources that could further their academic and career development.
