Graham Forman

Edovate Capital
Founder and Managing Director
Graham is the founder and managing director of Edovate Capital, a venture capital firm that invests in early stage and growth stage companies that are innovating education. He’s also the co-founder of the edGarage, which is a co-working space and services platform for education entrepreneurs.

Graham has been an early stage investor and entrepreneur since 2001. Prior to founding Edovate Capital, he was Vice President of Business Development for Netchemia, LLC a venture-backed cloud-based software company serving the K12 marketplace where he led new business development and strategic partnerships. During his tenure, the company grew to more than 2,400 school district customers throughout the United States. He has also served as an executive with technology firms Yearmovie and eCivis, LLC. Earlier in his career he was a legislative aide for former US Senator Paul Simon and California State Assembly, Senator, and Community College Chancellor Jack Scott who instilled in him a passion for education issues. Serving these education leaders, he developed his understanding of legislative and regulatory issues in education.

Graham is a an avid early-stage education investor and his portfolio includes leading companies such as Schoolzilla, Lea(R)n, Thinkcerca, UnCollege, Pear Deck, Swing Education and Schoolrunner. He’s a member of the Board of Trustees of the Colorado Education Initiative and is a co-organizer of the Edtech Colorado Meetup. He has an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA from the University of Chicago.

Forman lives in Denver and is an aspiring triathlete. He and his wife Mindee have two kids – ages 9 and
