Limited Capacity filling up

Take a hike and a lesson from nature. Learn how hands-on exploration in nature can enhance the traditional classroom experience as well as student and educator curiosity. Join Arin Trook, education director at the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES), and Carey Favaloro, ACES naturalist, on a 3.5-mile nature walk through beautiful and varied terrain in Snowmass, Colorado. Take in the local flora and fauna while learning innovative techniques for incorporating natural exploration into a traditional academic experience.

Note: Extensive hiking experience not necessary; sneakers or sturdy shoes encouraged.
