If you are like many schools in Colorado, you have an Advisory now that doesn’t work, used to have an Advisory that no one wants to bring back or you are overwhelmed by the long list of student needs—ICAP, grade checks, homework help, social emotional skills, 21st century skills, positive relationships, college applications just to name a few—that beg for some kind of carved-out time in your school day to address. If this sounds like what you’re facing, take advantage of this unique opportunity to talk through your Advisory plans and challenge areas with two people who have done this work on the ground. Sean O’Donnell, principal of Pagosa Springs High School, and CEI’s Finessa Ferrell will be available during this 90-minute block to meet 1:1 with school teams or school administrators for 30 minutes each.
To take advantage of this opportunity, build your personal schedule to include the entire 90 minute session time but sign up for a specific time slot (3:00, 3:30 or 4:00) at the main info booth at the Showcase.
