Join educators from Westminster Public Schools (WPS) as they share best practices for implementing a competency-based education system. Learn about the new curriculum structure created by WPS that records and reports student learning flexibly over multiple years. Get hands-on experience with the WPS Proficiency Scales and Learning Progressions that record student learning progress. Learn about the collaborative development of these tools, how educators are using them to design learning experiences and track student progress, lessons learned during the first year of implementation, and opportunities for value-added partnerships among districts moving forward.
