Bone up on the exciting lives of those who lay at rest in Red Butte Cemetery, the century-old graveyard in Aspen, Colorado, that is home to many former pillars of the community whose influence helped create this mountain town. See first-hand how the Aspen Historical Society preserves and presents Aspen's local history in inspiring and provocative ways. Collaborate with other educators to unearth innovative ways to use these stories as well as stories from your own community to bring local history to life in your classroom.

I run a program that dramatically increases the number and diversity of students graduating college-ready in the state of Colorado by increasing access to and success in Advanced Placement (AP) coursework. These students succeed NOT because AP is some magical curriculum, but because their teachers use AP as a vehicle to transform students' beliefs about who they are and can be.
